Before we say anything else we must note that we shall be filmed by the History Channel for its show "Surviving the Holidays" - HOSTED BY LEWIS BLACK!!!
This will be a very special Gods of Fire Holiday show with a special guest MYSTERY singer...it is part of MAJOR LEAGUE DREIDEL (yes, a tournament to decide NYC’s best dreidel spinner - we kid you not). It will presided over good friend and Air Guitar Champion William Ocean.

Mortals,
Just a quick update on all things metal. Gods of Fire are presently entombed recording our next album. It will be very metal, very spooky, and very awesome.
In addition, we have just recorded a theme song for THE TWO MICHELLES. They are the only two bearable Miami Dolphins fans on the planet (other than Evil Thunder). It can be seen here. Check em out, they are awesome.
Finally if you see Prometheus up in Connecticut somewhere wish him congrats as Mrs. Prometheus is giving birth to a very metal baby very soon.

MORTALS
Our next show will be quite fantastic. It will be the celebration of all things METAL, and of Saucy's Jack's birthday.
Come to ARLENE'S GROCERY on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th at 11PM and have yourselves a most metal party. Arlene's Grocery is located at 95 Stanton st. between Ludlow and Orchard.

Gods of Fire at Don Hills - Wednesday, July 9th - KISS tribute night
I trust all of our friends in the States had a wonderful independence day weekend. Did you use a lot of gas driving around? Maybe you were paralyzed by the profound wisdom of Wall-E. Perhaps you contemplated the escaped chimpanzee who bit off a man's testicles and buttocks last week.
Anyways that is all in the past. It is Monday and another crappy work week begins. While showering this morning you may have thought about all the things you had to look forward to this week and came up empty handed. Well worry not true believers.
Wednesday night the Gods of Fire are returning to their favorite venue in the heart of the West end of Manhattan, Don Hills. We are direct support before KISSNATION's ladies tribute to KISS where the hottest rocker girls in the NYC area sing their favorite KISS tunes. They are doing it in conjunction with Bitch, a band of bad-ass broads we used to play with a lot back in the day so it should be a lot of fun.
Also, we did just record that KISS cover for a Vinnie Vincent tribute record so we may just do something special for ONE NIGHT ONLY.
Doors are at 7, there are like 100 hard rock and glam bands before us, and we are on at 11. Kissnation at midnight.

GODS OF FIRE AT THE KNITTING FACTORY - May 22nd, 8pm
Some of you may have seen the Gods of Fire at our Air Band Tour stops in Brooklyn and Philadelphia. Well all the hard work from the Air Band contestants have paid off and William Ocean's Air Band will be doing a full air instrument set on the Knitting Factory Main stage on Thursday, 8pm, May 22nd. Think "Rock Band," just without the controllers.
Gods of Fire will be there to warm everyone up with real instruments, real soaring vocals, and real drum mics!
We go on at 8. We will crush you. While we are crushing the audience, some of you may be tempted to go to the bar and get tanked to appreciate an "Air Band." This behavior will be rewarded as immediately following the Air Band will be a performance by LYXX, the hair metal tribute band. Drunken revelers will be able to remember that they did in fact used to love Skid Row and KISS.

Porn Rock Ball!
Join us at the Porn Rock ball at Don Hill's on June 21st. We are on around 10'ish.
